Memo To:
AACC Members Only

From:
Jeffrey Grieco, President and CEO, AACC

Subject:
Invitation to 2nd Trans-Caspian East-West Trade and Transit Corridor Forum (June 26-27, 2017)

Date:
June 23, 2017

Dear AACC Members:

I am proud to be inviting all AACC members to attend the 2nd Trans-Caspian East-West Trade and Transit Corridor Forum to be held in Washington, D.C. on June 26-27, 2017 at no charge.

If you are planning to attend please email me directly (info@a-acc.org) and be sure to complete the online registration at:  http://www.transcaspianforum.org/

It seems that they may make the Day Two-Capitol Hill event smaller and more exclusive and invite only at this point.  Please register at the following event registration site for the Capitol Hill event only (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/advancing-us-interests-in-the-trans-caspian-east-west-trade-and-transit-corridor-tickets-35578643681).  The World Bank event on Day Two afternoon is covered by your Day One registration.  Sorry for any confusion but the Embassies are organizing together with Fred Starr and his Institute and there seems to be some different requirements as to room space and number of invitees for the Capitol Hill event.

I have also attached the updated Conference Agenda for your review.  Note that the AACC will be speaking on Day One-Panel #4 at 3:40pm-5:00pm (just before the reception) concerning business development options within the regional air transportation sector.  The Embassy representatives I met with this week urged our AACC members who are involved in freight forwarding, logistics, insurance, transportation, etc…. to come to this event.

Lastly, please note that Day One is at one location (i.e. George Washington University) but Day Two is broken into two parts: a meeting on Capitol Hill in the morning followed by an afternoon lunch and session at the World Bank complex.  Attendees are responsible for your respective transportation arrangements for all sessions.

We encourage all AACC members to attend this interesting event designed and implemented by the Washington Embassies of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Turkmenistan.
