AACC attends Afghanistan Reconstruction Summit in Istanbul, January 2010

The Afghanistan Reconstruction Summit took place in Istanbul, Turkey on January 20-21, 2010. AACC leadership was invited to represent the Private Sector perspective on Operational Capability and Business Support. Hon. Don Ritter, President-CEO and Founding Member, gave a speech on “Building on Local Skills and Experience” during the summit. The entire speech can be found here.

The Afghan- American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) held its fifth annual Business Matchmaking Conference in Washington DC from October 18 through October 20. The Conference was held in Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center and new “W” Hotel, in the heart of Washington, DC’s government district, in view of the White House, home of the President of the United States.

AACC's Testimony to the U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee

Tuesday, July 14, 2009, AACC submitted a written testimony to the U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Subcommittee on National Security, for a hearing on “U.S. Promotion of the Afghan Economy: Impediments and Opportunities”.
